Jurgis Kunčinas

In 2022, to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the writer Jurgis Kunčinas, Pijus Šematulskis decorated the wall of the Jurgis Kunčinas public library building in Alytus with a portrait of the writer. The writer's dramatic look that greets those who come to the library and accompanies them when they leave leaves no doubt - Alytus is the city of Jurgis Kunčinas.
